Compression rubber moulding

Compression rubber moulding: versatile, for complex materials, smaller quantities and large components.

Parts and gaskets of any size with variable thickness or thick cross-sections, or made with special mixes. This technique is also suitable for small production runs, for the production of prototypes or large components, up to 15 kg with our systems. The material is dosed and arranged in the mould by hand, distributed evenly under pressure, until fully vulcanised.

At New Rubber we have presses with various pressure capacities and dimensions.

One characteristic of compression moulding is that it generally uses lower cost moulds than injection moulding.
