Fast production of rubber gaskets cut from sheets, in series or for prototypes, directly from drawing and with no tooling, in silicone, EPDM, Neoprene, Viton® and plastic materials.
Blade cutting for gaskets and technical parts in rubber or other materials, whether expanded or compact, is a technique that rapidly makes components with extremely precise shapes and sizes within set tolerances.
New Rubber has 2 CNC stations for producing or prototyping parts measuring up to 1500x3000 mm for most industrial sectors. Thicknesses up to 50 mm.
Advantages of blade cutting
- Extreme precision, very tight tolerances of manufactured parts
- Flexibility and versatility for the production of prototypes, small, medium or large production runs
- Possibility of working with many rubber materials, including elastomers and foams
- No tooling required. All we need is a dwg or dxf drawing
- Excellent material cutting and cleaning finishes
- No alteration of materials
Materials available for blade cutting
- Natural rubber
- EPDM
- Nitrile
- Silicone
- Neoprene
- Viton®
- PTFE
- Expanded and laminated graphite
- Asbestos-free
In general this technical is used to produce:
- seal gaskets
- washers and seal rings
- insulation gaskets for safety guards, etc.
